This 1947 bride made her bridal party wear custom made dresses. Sounds glamourous, right? Think again. These custom made dresses were made of TURKEY FEATHERS! Each gown was valued at $18,000! (or $175,000 in today's dollars!)
So if any of your girls complain about their dress, tell them at least they aren't wearing turkey feather!
Wow! Talk about a turkey! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!) I wonder if any of the bridesmaids ever wore their dresses a second time. (Thanksgiving maybe? Okay...that's not funny...but yet it is!)
